Password disclosure via unmasked pseudo-agent configuration
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
Information disclosure in the Wazuh manager API allows remote authenticated users to read the enrollment password via agent configuration. The get_agent_config() call chain accepts pseudo-agent 000 and returns authd.pass without the masking applied to manager configuration. Access requires agent:read covering 000 and password-based enrollment; the disclosed secret permits rogue agent enrollment.
