Post disclosure via public AJAX query
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Broken access control in the AJAX load-more handler in Anders Norén Koji 2.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read post data via crafted AJAX queries. The public wp_ajax_nopriv_koji_ajax_load_more endpoint passes $_POST['json_data'] directly into WP_Query and renders matching previews without a capability check, nonce check, or allowlist on query arguments. Reachability is unauthenticated over /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php; published records indicate confidentiality impact only, and no public evidence reviewed here shows data modification or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
