CVE-2026-73912Network attack vector

Unauthenticated takeover via undisclosed access control

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Improper access control in Oracle Helidon 4.5.0 allows remote attackers to take over the server via unauthenticated HTTP requests. Oracle's advisory and the NVD record identify the Imperative Web Server component but do not disclose the vulnerable endpoint or the access-control check that wrongly accepts untrusted requests. Exposure is limited to network-reachable deployments of 4.5.0, with no authentication or user interaction required, and the published impact is full compromise of the Helidon instance.
