Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Information disclosure in Itthinx Decent Comments before 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to enumerate registered-user emails via REST. The public /wp-json/decent-comments/v1/comments endpoint returns author_email and post_author fields without an authorization check. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the consequence is limited to reading email addresses stored for comment and post authors.
