Credential disclosure via unredacted wrapper CRs
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Cleartext exposure of secrets in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2 allows local users to read credentials from must-gather archives. The ACM must-gather component collects certain wrapper Custom Resources that embed Secret data and writes them into the archive without redaction. Exposure requires an administrator to run must-gather and an attacker to obtain the resulting archive; the documented impact is credential and token disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
