Authentication bypass in HPE IceWall MFA 4.0 and Federation 4.0 allows remote attackers to impersonate another user via SAML responses. HPE identifies SAML response processing as the locus but has not disclosed which integrity or identity validation accepts the altered assertion. The affected SAML authentication option must be enabled, and successful exploitation grants the forged account's application access.
