CVE-2026-73776

Administrative code execution via signature verification bypass

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Signature verification bypass in the AOS-CX command-line interface allows local administrators to execute arbitrary operating-system code. HPE identifies the CLI as the affected locus but has not disclosed which signed object is accepted, how its signature check is bypassed, or the required external conditions. Exploitation requires authenticated administrative access and additional preconditions outside the attacker's control; the reported impact is code execution with confidentiality and integrity loss, not service interruption.
