Buffer overflow in HPE AOS-CX 10.10, 10.13, 10.16, 10.17, and 10.18 branches allows attackers to disclose data via crafted packets. HPE has not identified the packet-processing locus or the unchecked memory operation that allows crafted packets to overrun a buffer. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and no authentication; successful attacks can also modify limited information and disrupt the switch.
