CVE-2026-73772

Unauthenticated service interruption via crafted packet overflow

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026

Buffer overflows in an underlying AOS-CX service allow unauthenticated remote attackers to interrupt the operating system with crafted packets. CISA maps the flaw to unchecked buffer copying, but the affected service, packet fields, and vulnerable routines remain undisclosed. The attacker must reach an adjacent network, and exploitation disrupts normal switch operation without reported data disclosure or modification.
