Privileged command execution via API input injection
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Command injection in the AOS-CX API endpoint allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute privileged commands. HPE identifies the API endpoint as the affected locus but has not published the parameter, handler, or failed input-neutralization operation. Administrative API access is required; affected releases are 10.10.0000 through 10.10.1180, 10.13.0000 through 10.13.1180, 10.16.0000 through 10.16.1051, 10.17.0000 through 10.17.1021, and 10.18.0000 through 10.18.0001.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
