CVE-2026-73752

Unauthenticated code execution via API path traversal

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Arbitrary file write in the AOS-CX API allows remote attackers to write operating-system files and execute arbitrary code. The endpoint fails to restrict a pathname to its intended directory, so attacker-controlled path input can select files outside the permitted location. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the attacker must have adjacent-network reachability to the API; exploitation can compromise the switch operating system.
