Buffer overflow in the AOS-CX authentication module allows remote authenticated users to execute code or interrupt switch operation. The module improperly processes malformed or truncated input returned by a compromised or hostile authentication server. Exploitation requires authenticated remote access and control or compromise of a configured authentication server; success permits elevated code execution or service interruption.
