CVE-2026-73742Network attack vector

Authenticated request attribution spoofing via client-address validation

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026

Client-address spoofing in HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer 7.0.0 through 7.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to falsify request attribution. HPE identifies the locus only as an API endpoint and has not disclosed which client-address value is trusted or how validation fails. A low-privilege operator account is required; successful requests write an inaccurate source address into attribution records.
