Authenticated database disclosure via unquoted table name
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
SQL injection in Saurus CMS Community Edition through d886e5b allows remote authenticated users to extract database contents. admin/db_data.php inserts the GET or POST table_name value directly into a SHOW COLUMNS FROM statement without quoting, escaping, or an allowlist. Administrator credentials are required; table traversal exposes schema metadata directly, while blind predicates permit character-by-character data extraction.
