CVE-2026-73669Network attack vector

Unauthenticated device access via anonymous MQTT broker

Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026

Missing authentication in Signify Philips Hue Bridge Pro firmware before 1.77.2071318010 allows remote attackers to read data and control lights. The embedded Mosquitto MQTT broker listens on all network interfaces and accepts anonymous clients instead of requiring credentials. Network reachability to the broker is sufficient; successful access exposes device data and permits commands that control connected lights.
