Improper access control in FreePBX Backup & Restore 17.0.5.34 through 17.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to gain shell access. The publicKeySave AJAX endpoint appends a submitted key directly to /home/asterisk/.ssh/authorized_keys without command or source restrictions. Administrator-level Backup access is typically required; the injected key grants persistent command execution as the asterisk system user.
