Outline-state disclosure via unchecked document identifier
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Missing authorization in SiYuan before 3.7.4 allows remote attackers to read stored outline state through getOutlineStorage. The /api/storage/getOutlineStorage route applies CheckAuth but performs no publish-tier, password, visibility, or document-access check before GetOutlineStorage returns the caller-selected DocID entry. Anonymous publish mode or RoleReader access and knowledge of a document identifier are required; the response exposes heading block identifiers and outline-use state, not document text.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
