Credential disclosure via incomplete string-field redaction
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Information disclosure in Flowise before 3.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve decrypted workspace secrets via its API. The getCredentialById() service decrypts stored credential data into plainDataObj, while redactCredentialWithPasswordType() masks only schema fields typed as password and returns secret-bearing string fields verbatim. The credentials:view permission is sufficient to read every credential in the user's workspace, including database URLs, private keys, and API keys.
