Adjacent-network data tampering via improper certificate validation
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Dell Secure Connect Gateway Policy Manager before 5.34.00.16 allows attackers to read and alter data. Dell has not published the certificate-processing locus or the validation check that accepts an untrusted certificate. Exploitation requires unauthenticated adjacent-network access and bypasses transport protection without interrupting service.
