Out-of-bounds read in sblim-sfcb on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 through 10 allows local users to crash the provider-manager process. The provider-manager IPC parser deserializes a malformed OperationHdr without adequate bounds validation, causing an out-of-bounds memory read and process termination. Exploitation requires local access to the connect socket and permission to obtain the internal provider-manager descriptor; resulting disclosure is limited to unintended process memory.
