Authenticated file disclosure via packages path traversal
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Path traversal in Zimbra Collaboration before 10.1.17 allows remote authenticated users to read files through the Briefcase editor. The editor's packages parameter accepts crafted ../ sequences without sufficient path validation, resolving requests outside the intended document path. A valid account is required, and disclosure is limited to sensitive files reachable within the web application directory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
