Sandbox escape via ANGLE out-of-bounds access
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 147.0.7727.138 allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox via crafted HTML. ANGLE reads and writes beyond a memory object's bounds while processing attacker-controlled page content; the restricted issue hides the specific function and object. User interaction is required to open the crafted page, and successful exploitation grants access beyond the renderer sandbox; host code execution is not established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
