Sandbox escape via Media use after free
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Use after free in Google Chrome for Android before 147.0.7727.138 allows remote attackers controlling the renderer to escape the sandbox. The restricted Chromium issue does not disclose which Media object is freed prematurely or how crafted HTML triggers its later reuse. Exploitation requires user interaction with a crafted page and prior compromise of the renderer process; successful exploitation crosses the renderer sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
