CVE-2026-73509Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-user file renaming via unchecked source path

Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026

Path traversal in OpenList before 4.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to rename files outside their authorized base path. The /api/fs/batch_rename handler validates src_dir and new_name but concatenates unchecked src_name before normalized filesystem rename. Rename permission is required; traversal can move guessed cross-user files, interrupt their use, and disclose file existence through responses.
