CVE-2026-73505Public exploit

Command execution via path-segment template injection

Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026

Template injection in the OMP prompt renderer before 29.35.1 allows local users to execute commands through crafted directory names. The setStyle() function in src/segments/path.go passes a path containing raw folder names to template.Render, which exposes the cmd function. Execution occurs with the victim's privileges when the default path segment renders inside the crafted directory or any descendant.
