CVE-2026-73496Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Server file disclosure via unrestricted attachment paths

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Path traversal in MCP Atlassian before 0.22.0 allows remote authenticated users to read server files via attachment tools. The Confluence and Jira upload flows normalize a client-controlled file_path, open the resulting server-local path without workspace confinement, and send its bytes to Atlassian. Exploitation requires write-tool access in an HTTP, SSE, or multi-user deployment and exposes files readable by the server process; single-user stdio use does not cross this trust boundary.
