Unauthorized traffic forwarding via skipped uRPF drop
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Arista EOS 4.35.0F through 4.35.4M allows remote attackers to forward traffic that uRPF should drop. On affected 7050X4 and 7358X4 switches, loose-mode unicast reverse-path forwarding omits the intended verification drop for certain source routes. Exposure requires loose-mode IPv4 or IPv6 uRPF on an interface; the consequence is unauthorized packet forwarding, with no reported confidentiality or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
