Admin-gated internal-service access via unvalidated synchronization redirects
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
SSRF in Vulnerability-Lookup 5.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services through remote-instance sync. The synchronization worker passes each stored address to requests.get() with automatic redirects and no destination network-boundary validation. Administrator access with admin:access is required; requests originate from the server and can reach private services or cloud metadata endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
