Sandboxed code execution via WebView use-after-free
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Use after free in WebView in Google Chrome on Android before 147.0.7727.138 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox. The WebView component continues to use memory after it is freed when processing a crafted HTML page; Google has not disclosed the affected function or object lifecycle. A user must load the attacker-controlled page, and resulting code execution remains inside Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
