Unauthenticated paid-content access via omitted payment fields
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Broken access control in WPEverest User Registration & Membership 5.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to access paid content without payment. The registration handler trusts client-submitted membership and payment signals, so removing those fields suppresses order creation while leaving an account able to authenticate. Exploitation requires a paid membership form with Payment Before Login enabled and grants access limited to content assigned to the selected membership.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
