Cross-site scripting via unescaped attributes
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Cross-site scripting in SimplyRETS Real Estate IDX before 3.2.9 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. Public records do not identify the vulnerable shortcode, endpoint, or template; the vendor changelog only states that 3.2.9 improved sanitization of unescaped attributes. The issue is reachable without authentication, but exploitation still requires a user to load attacker-supplied content, limiting the direct consequence to script execution in the site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
