Stored XSS via unescaped table titles and links
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WP Data Access 5.5.79 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. The table-output and shortcode paths fail to escape stored titles and links before inserting them into generated pages. Author-level access is required to plant the payload, and a privileged user must view or act on the crafted content before code runs in the site's origin.
