Sandbox escape via GPU use-after-free
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's GPU component before 147.0.7727.138 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox through crafted HTML. The GPU component can access an object after its storage is freed, but the restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the affected object or function. Exploitation requires a victim to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which successful memory reuse permits code to cross the renderer sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
