CVE-2026-73325

Arbitrary code execution via unsafe checkpoint deserialization

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026

Unsafe deserialization in Fujitsu Research OneCompression 1.2.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code via model.pt. QuantizedModelLoader.load_quantized_model_pt() calls torch.load with weights_only=False, causing Python pickle to invoke a crafted reduce method from the checkpoint. Execution requires a caller to load the malicious checkpoint from an attacker-influenced model directory, after which commands run with the caller's privileges.
