Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped statistics URL
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Lucian Apostol's Auto Affiliate Links 6.8.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser. aal_url_stats_save_action() stores an insufficiently sanitized url parameter, and aal_display_clicks() emits that value into anchor text and its href attribute without output escaping. An exposed nonce and unauthenticated AJAX hook permit injection, but execution occurs when an administrator opens the statistics page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
