Authenticated cross-user data manipulation via missing ownership checks
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
IDOR in Microsoft Container Migration Solution Accelerator 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access cross-user data. The process and file management APIs accept object identifiers without scoping database queries or deletion operations to the authenticated user's user_id. Any Entra ID-authenticated user in the same organization can read, alter, or delete another user's migration processes and files.
