CSRF in Semaphore before 2.18.21 allows remote attackers to take over user accounts through a cross-site password-change request. The /api/users/{id}/password handler accepts the browser's semaphore session cookie without a CSRF token or current-password check. A victim must be authenticated and visit attacker-controlled content; the forged request can reset that user's password, including an administrator's.
