Authorization bypass in OpenSSH before 10.5 allows remote authenticated users to invoke local-only ssh-agent operations remotely. When agent locking rejects [email protected] requests, ssh-agent fails to identify forwarded clients as remote and permits restricted requests. An attacker needs access to a forwarded agent while it is locked; successful exploitation can add PKCS#11 tokens or use destination-restricted keys.
