Configuration disclosure and logging changes via management endpoints
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Missing authentication in Kestra before 2.0.0-rc6 allows remote attackers to read configuration and alter runtime logging via port 8081. The shipped application.yml serves Micronaut /env and /loggers routes on a separate listener outside the API Basic Auth filter. Any network client that can reach port 8081 can retrieve resolved property sources and change logger levels without credentials; credential values remain masked.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
