Unauthenticated directory disclosure via unconfined path
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Path traversal in kkFileView 5.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to enumerate server directories through POST /listFiles. FileController.getFiles concatenates the user-controlled path beneath the demo directory and passes it to Files.newDirectoryStream without normalization or root-confinement validation. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exposure is limited to directory and filename disclosure rather than file-content access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
