CVE-2026-73224Network attack vector

Command execution via unescaped folder name

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

OS command injection in electerm before 3.15.120 allows remote attackers to execute commands through a crafted downloaded folder name. The calcLocal method in src/client/components/sftp/file-info-modal.jsx embeds the server-controlled name in a PowerShell or du command without escaping its quote context. Execution requires the user to download the folder from a malicious FTP or SFTP server and select Properties and Calculate Size; commands run with that user's privileges.
