Cross-task request disclosure and cancellation via predictable IDs
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Incorrect authorization in CVAT 2.17.0 through 2.71.0 allows remote authenticated users with the Worker role to view or cancel lambda requests. The lambda request retrieve and destroy endpoints accept predictable, task-based request IDs without verifying access to the target task or job or ownership of the request. Worker-level access is required; exploitation exposes other users' automatic annotation request details and permits cancellation of their requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
