CVE-2026-73212Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated SSRF via noncanonical IPv6 peer addresses

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

SSRF in coturn before 4.13.1 allows remote authenticated users to reach IPv4-denied peers through translated IPv6 addresses. good_peer_addr() passes peer addresses to ioa_addr_in_range(), which compares noncanonical IPv4-compatible, 6to4, and NAT64 forms as IPv6 and misses IPv4 deny ranges. Exploitation requires valid TURN credentials, IPv6 relay support, a useful translation route, and a reachable downstream service; it does not execute code in coturn.
