OS command injection in Advantech EKI-1242IEIMS and EKI-1242EIMS 1.06.01 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The web management interface incorporates crafted request parameters into operating-system commands without neutralizing command elements. Successful requests run arbitrary commands as root, and an authenticated management session is required.
