CVE-2026-73175

OPC UA denial of service via session exhaustion

Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Advantech EKI-1242 gateways through 1.06.01 allows adjacent unauthenticated attackers to block OPC UA access. The OPC UA gateway accepts multiple anonymous sessions until they exhaust the server's finite session pool. An attacker must reach the appliance from an adjacent network; pool exhaustion denies all legitimate OPC UA clients access.
