Unauthenticated SSRF via unresolved hostname validation
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
SSRF in MISP Project CTI-Transmute 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read internal HTTP responses via crafted hostnames. The _validate_misp_url routine accepted domain names without resolving them, allowing both MISP routes to request private addresses. No login was required, so an anonymous network caller could direct the service to an internal host and receive its response.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
