Stored XSS via interpolated tag icon
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Stored XSS in MISP Project CTI-Transmute 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted tag icon. The mapIcon() helper interpolates the stored icon value into an HTML string that Vue's v-html renders without neutralizing attacker-controlled markup. Low-privilege access to set an icon and a later view of the affected tag, including in administrative triage, are required for code to run in the viewer's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
