Credential disclosure via plaintext Insight service response
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Credential disclosure in Sitefinity CMS 8.0.5700 through versions before 13.3.7652 allows remote authenticated users to obtain Insight credentials. A Sitefinity web service exposes the credentials used to connect to Sitefinity Insight in plaintext, but Progress has not published the affected endpoint or code operation. Exploitation requires an active Insight integration, a non-default site configuration, and valid back-end authorization; the disclosed credentials provide access to the connected Insight service.
