CVE-2026-7310

Local code execution via crafted XML parsing

Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in Hitachi Energy MACH HiDraw 9.22 and earlier allows local users to execute code via a crafted XML file. Hitachi Energy identifies the XML parser as the locus but has not disclosed the parser routine, malformed XML field, or exact out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and active user interaction, and it can crash HiDraw or compromise data confidentiality and integrity through code execution.
