Victim-session actions via stored HTML index script
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.6.0 through 3.91.x allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser. The built-in HTML directory index emits attacker-uploaded repository content without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires hosted-repository upload permission and a separate user to browse the affected directory, after which the script acts in that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
